My past information on Paperdolls has been accidentally deleted. If I happen to miss any questions you may have, please do not hesitate to let me know.


I decided to open up commissions. I do ask that questions, interest, orders be placed through note/email. Please either NOTE me through DA/FA or email me at Frisket17 AT hotmail DOT com. Replies to journal entries will not be recognized as an order placed. This is so I can keep track of all orders coming in.



What is a paperdoll?

Paperdoll in short, is very much like a personal reference sheet. I originally did these up so I would not have to constantly have to redraw a body over and over and over again when trying to plot out costums/outfits and general accessories for a given character. It sped up the process, as I generally got rather antsy about messing up a good form with a potentially bad idea for an outfit. It also doubled as a great reference sheet for that said character.

This had solved it. It works as a base/background layer in Photoshop and enables you to draw on top of the figure. Since I'm horrible at explaining, I've provided examples of people using the Dolls.

Please note the price of a Paperdoll is $45 as a base. What this means, as a base, is if your character is overly complex (lots of limbs, lots striping, etc), we can negotiate. Generally it is an addition of $5. They include figure + coloring + simple shading.


If you are wanting a Vixentaur (or ...species..taur..thing.) instead of a traditional Paperdoll, this will count as a commission slot (one of the 12). These baseline at $60. Include figure + coloring + simple shading + corset/outfit + light design backdrop/background.





Disclaimers and general:
(general FAQ stuff I'm trying to remember)


1) Any character that I draw for you must be yours and/or permission acquired by the artist who retains ownership. This is not negotiable.

2) Please be advised, while I am fast with Paperdoll orders, there is the potential that it can take a month or two to fulfill your order. Generally I will send you a prelim sketch to approve, then the cleanup/inking/coloring stage will begin. Once a sketch is approved, it generally takes no more than 2 days for your order to be completed. Please keep open communications with me.

3) The paperdolls are first come first serve. I've a certain number of slots open, and I'm unsure when I will do them again. This number is set on what I can reasonably handle. I don't like disappointing commissioners. ^_^

4) As much as this sucks, because I do not trust it and all I hear is horror stories about it, I'm afraid I do not accept Paypal. Sorry :/ Cash is sent at your own risk, Checks and Money Orders acceptable. Checks must be cleared first before work is started/completed. Money Orders ensure your work is started right away.

It is perfectly fine to contact with me that you are interested in taking a slot. If you want a slot, and are unsure what you want, that is fine too. Just send me the notification you wish to have your name put on one of the twelve tabs available. Since I've only twelve slots for grabs, please only send me notification if you are serious about wanting a slot. Thank you much!!
