I'm going to tell you, that the only reason I've continued doing paperdolls and other commissions is not because people want them. I've no problem -stopping- doing them.
The only thing keeping me going on them is the fact the people I've met and worked with throughout this commissioning project have been not just wonderful, but phenominal! I don't often make public posts praising commissioners, but I'm going post this list, and transfer it to also the artist aware boards.
I'm truly grateful for the patience, humor, playfulness, kindness, generosity, and comradely of the people I've worked with. I consider myself extremely fortunate, especially with the horror stories from other artists/friends I hear. ANY artist would be highly fortunate to have any one of the people on my list as a commissioner!
Thank you for making the commissioning process wonderful! GREAT commissioners:
of LJ Wolfwind
of DAMatt DaQuannoJenna DaQuanno / Katanawolf / KanashimiYami-Neko-Tsuki
of DAWailingwolf / Casidhe / Warren
(these are people who have commissioned/traded with me in the 6th months or so. There are probably more, just made a quick list
I've X-posted this to my DA journal, my LJ, and Artist_beware)
Thank you guys for being such wonderful commissioners! May other commissioners follow in your footsteps.
Now. I do not want to be one of those types of people who takes people's photoshop brushes and neglects citing where I get them. HOWEVER, I fear that in the future, since I'm now downloading so many, it would be near impossible to list all the brushes and sources per image I do. I'm hoping that making a list here will not only give credit, but promote these talented brush-makers.
I, in the past, have not been able to use photoshop brushes outside the ones already supplied in the program. Why? It is simple. For the longest of times, I had only Photoshop Elements 2 to play with. It is only through a recent ability, and by
I was able to obtain Photoshop CS2.
I'm now finding myself experimenting with backgrounds more, and I'd love resources. So I've looked through DA. I'm trying to
all brushes I DL so those that view my work can go back and see where the brushes originated from. My apologies to people if giving mass credit like this is not enough. I just don't think I have the ability to even remember when or whose brush I'll be using in the future.
Never the less, the list of talented brush makers
