Recent News - 11/28

If it hasn't been evident, got smashed with a bit of RL on my end and it slowed me a bit. I do apologize deeply to any clients waiting for work to be finished. From Birthdays to Thanksgiving to MFF to sickness, the last 3 weeks were 'LAWL WUT!?' on my end. Hopefully others had it easier.


I'll be buckling down to finish up and complete work that is outstanding. If you've any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know.



As mentioned in my past journal, I'll be working full steam after Con to hopefully to finish up everyone's commissions by December - this is my personal goal. :}

Just organizing things n' getting things prepped to start working on commissions again.

Great meeting everyone. Sorry if you happened to catch me with my head glued to a book. Speaking of books..

Tyler and I arrive on Thursday and will be there until Sunday. Since the con is small, I'll most likely be running around in the lobby to socialize a little.

If you are looking to get a colored badge from me, for the love of all that is awesome, do NOT wait until the last hour on Sunday. O_o; I like taking my time and making badges look nice, not rushed.

The MFF Quiz


What day are you getting there?
I think Tyler and I will be arriving on Thursday. I'll be hanging mostly with Tyler (Nall) and Adam (Pegasus316).


Where will you be most of the time during the day/s/?
Given that MFF's Artist Alley has doubled its given space, and while nothing is set in stone, I most likely will be in the Artist's Alley (again providing I get a spot). I'll be in the Alley with *Pegasus316.




Who will you be with?
Most likely Nall n' Pegs. We'll probably find ourselves a spot in the lobby to draw and work on homework.


Do you do free art?
At cons? Sorry. Typically no. I say typically because at room-parties, I may do art trades with friends I know, etc.


Do you do trades?
See above.


Do you do commissions?
Yep! I'll be in the Artist Alley. Come by and commission things! I'll be doing con sketches for both pencil, detailed pencil, and inks. I will also be providing badges that are pencil, ink, colored, and for a new twist this year: Fish badges!
I MAY try doing limited colored stuff for people... Not sure yet 100%


Do you have CDs or Prints?
Not this go around.


Do you do Badges?
As I mentioned above, I certainly do! They will be laminated if a cut-out style badge like the fish, and pin-backed. (If customer prefers, they will be cut to fit a normal sleeve instead of laminated/pin-backed.


Whats your gender?
Really? .... I don't know many men named Melissa.
Protip. I respond to Melissa more readily than Frisket.


How Old are You?
Just turned 27 ---as did my hubby to be. I'm 16 days older than Ty.


Are you taken?
I'm engaged. So that'd be a yes


Can I touch you?
I'm actually fighting off a cough/cold. Don't be offended if I keep my distance :}


Can I hang out with you?
Sure! But if I need to leave to do something, please don't try to tag along unless you're invited. This should go as a given. (Actually. *shinigamigirl said it perfectly on her AC reply, so I just kept the answer she had here. )


Can I talk to you?
Sure! I don't mind conversations - HOWEVER do be aware that I'm highly OCD minded. What this means is I go into tunnel vision and tune things out. If I do this, it is nothing personal, it just means I'm in 'work mode' and conversations are best left to AFTER Artist Alley hours I don't mind spending some time talking during AA hours, just know I may be a touch scatter brained and needing to get things done.


How can I find you?
If you need to reach me, best way is to either find Tyler (Nall), or to find me at the Dealer's Den --- Or after hours, I'll prowl around the lobby. If I'm not there, chances are I had to skitter around and stretch my legs. Other than that.

Recent News - 11/13

Alright. This is just a little heads up for clients and people:

I WILL BE ATTENDING MFF09. I'll most likely be in the Artist Alley.

Tomorrow, Nov 14th, is my to-be-Hubby's birthday HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!!



Due to the smooshed in schedule, and con prep, art on my end may slow a little. I'll do my best to get linework/bluelines out to people at the very least as soon as I can.

I know a few clients are attending MFF and requested their items done by that time -- they have priority just due to the time crunch.

If there is anything missing, or you have questions, don't hesitate to let me know.
