As many have witnessed in the limited time during and post BlizzCon09, you know that Worgen are to be a playable race come the expansion in 2010.

They've posted no real in-game files of the worgen females outside a halloween mask. The only other art is concept art that can be found here: [link]


Don't get me wrong. I love the body design, even if I find the rack a bit big for the body frame (or maybe it is due to the small head). I'm just not fond of some of the face sketches they've done thus far. They appear a mix of deer, fox, mouse (with weird underbites), and all have feline-ish noses. So. Decided to concept up my own.

Decided to doodle up my own Worgen female, since it is obvious I'll play one. My worgen priest may be an engineer, given the steampunk element the concept for the Worgen and its environment hold. (Besides. Goggles are fun to draw!)

The body for her will be lanky. I want her to be feral as possible without being retarded girly. The one thing currently messing me up is how I want to do the legs/feet :/

God, I'm DYING for Cataclysm to come out DX I wanna see how jacked up some of the zones are gonna be, and I also want a damn Worgen (or knowing my tenancy to make many, many characters, several >> ) any idea/speculation on what their racial mounts are gonna be? :O

For Worgen's racial mount, there has been no current confirmation. The only ideas they've shown us was an odd ... boar thing.. concept sketch released at BlizzCon09.

There are no female worgen listed in the media section. This was brought up at BlizzCon -- they have not finalized the ingame model and it does not appear in the trailer for Cataclysm :)

But yes. Blizzard launched the Cataclysm website as soon as it was revealed in BlizzCon.

I don't hold much stock in concept drawings, since they rarely hold true to the real thing. From the female worgen mask, I'd say they'll look alright--in the face at least.
