My first watercolor. The scanner, first of all, left a small gap between paper and the scanner's bed.. and gave it a slightly blurry look. The scanner's colors don't do it justice. Much brighter up close and in person.
I've been drawing Toucans for class lately, and then I saw Billy and Mandy.. and showed Billy gettin' a peppermint. And I was like. GASP! I can use that. So I was like..what can you do with a peppermint? Put it in tea!
I've tried putting peppermints in tea... didn't do a whole lot for it, but I didn't put many in. Disappointing experiment for me; next time, I'll have to keep adding them to see how many it takes to have affect on a mug of tea.
Adorable pic, btw. Like the soft blend of colors.

I like were you got the concept from. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is quite a sinister program though and I am quite surprised that Cartoon Network air on prime time. The toucan kind of reminds me of the crow in that show. I must say that your watercolour abilities are outstanding. Your watercolour is a very beautiful artwork even when your scanner dulled down the colours.
Thank you kindly
Really got into watercolors hardcore after the class I was taking. What happened was I was an education major. We were required to have an 'Art in the Classroom' type class -- The teacher said we need to be familiar with different mediums n' introduced the paints.
They're tubed watercolors. Prior, while I've used tubes before in highschool, for cost-saving, the teacher would plop out a glob and we'd have to use it after it's hardened.
It's -so- much (better) different to paint with watercolors that are fresh instead of ...caked/hard.
But thank you very kindly for the compliment! I truly appreciate it
