Digging through my old files, I found this. I had to laugh.

Massively important disclaimer
By no means do I want or think Worgen should look like this. In fact, I did it after everyone (back in Alpha/Beta days) were caterwauling about the aesthetics. I forget exactly what was said or why or where... but this was the result.

This was a demonstration of people complaining the do's and don't's of worgen female models. Many wanted them dolled up and pretty. In fact, many guessing from Blizzard's trend for most female races, were betting they'd be like some female wolven barbie.

So this was the Please No, Blizzard image.

It was done back when they first were announced in 2010.

PS: I'm pretty sure those familiar with my worgen know I lean towards the more feral / were type worgen than... this... atrocity.

PPS: This was also due to the 'scene' hairstyles Blizz originally had on alpha females. I was not fond of that option.. In hindsight, I'd GLADLY take the alpha model over the beta, though. :/

I know right? God it still makes me feel sad. As a female werewolf obsessive, I've had a few daydreams about making an amazing female worgen model (even better than the male) and going to blizzard and getting the horrible sexist mess they made replaced! For now though shadowed helms with glowing eyes and sidebits to hide the snarl are my only tolerable options (apart from deathknight..somehow the blue eyes balance it a bit).

I'll say this one's face still looks like an actual wolfs/worg, much bette than what we currently got, I'd take this face in a heart beat.

The sad truth is that this rendition of the female worgen is actually better than the current because it's at least anatomically correct. The body in WoW is just... ew. Plastic boobs and weird posture. And the head, oh god... It's a glorified chihuahua.

Man that is good. I would much rather have that in the games then the ones we have right now. I mean damn, if all the worgen females in the game looked like that. My character would be going crazy! Haha lol, but man good job. ^_^

This still looks a ton better than what we have in-game! I like how you drew the limbs, actually.

I agree; I'd like for the worgen female models to look far more feral and dangerous. This is a curse, for crying out loud, not some transformation into as you put it, a female wolven barbie!
